Many years in the theatre has taken Doug Voet from starring on
Broadway to producing.


After attending Brigham Young University he continued his education at the Dance Centre of London and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. While in London, Doug was a member of two dance troops and a regular performer in the cabaret scene.

Doug was cast as Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, DC. Doug reprised his role of Joseph on Broadway. Following that, Doug performed in the Off-Broadway hit “Forbidden Broadway.” Additional performance credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 1776, CHORUS LINE, GREASE, HOW TO SUCCEED..., BLAME IT ON THE MOVIES, numerous revues, cabaret, casino shows, cruise ship and theme parks.

In Las Vegas Mr. Voet produced the musical, AT THE COPA, starring David Cassidy and Sheena Easton at the Rio Hotel and Casino. Doug spent the next several years working with Mr. Cassidy. He was responsible for coordinating his national and international tours as well as occasionally singing backup vocals.

While at Lake Las Vegas, the highly successful “Stars on the Lake” concert series was one of Doug’s responsibilities. Past seasons included Glenn Frye, Kenny G, Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams, Michael Bolton, Heart, America/ Christopher Cross, Michael Feinstein with Linda Eder, Nevada Ballet and Seal. A most exciting project was completed in December 2005, “Amore Under the Desert Stars”, starring Andrea Bocelli under the direction of David Horn with Musical Direction by David Foster. This production was aired
on PBS in March of 2006.

Currently Doug is a consultant for the multiple Tony Award winning theatre group, Dallas Summer Musicals as well as a teacher for the DSM Academy of Performing Arts.
