Jeff Hampton
Dance Instructor

Jeff has been dancing for almost five years now. Essentially self-taught, He has spent those five years observing, learning, and watching other dancers of various styles and eras, ranging from the 1980’s to the revolutionizing performers of modern day. His style consists of several hip hop elements that resemble the past and the present.  He began performing when he was sixteen years old, originating from school pep rallies and developing into performing at local functions, assemblies, and stadium events today.  He regularly travels to Los Angeles and takes master classes in lyrical, Latin funk, Latin jazz, house, locking, popping, and even old school hip hop.  His forte and passion lies in B-boying.  As the leader of the traveling Ryteside hip hop dance crew, he has been challenged and motivated over the years to expand beyond his innate breaking ability and pick up group hip hop choreography.  He now teaches several hip hop classes and workshops around the metroplex ranging from beginner levels to advanced hip hop. Some of his biggest influences include various international bboys (break dancers), poppers such as Mr. Wiggles, Popping Pete, Phillip Chbeeb, and crews such as Marvelous Motion, So Real Cru, Quest Crew, Jabbawockeez, Choreo Cookies and Formality.
